In a world that is becoming increasingly aware of environmental challenges, it is essential for companies to play a role in preserving our planet. At Roundliner, we have made it our mission to make a significant contribution to protecting the environment, focussing particularly on the key principle of ‘reuse’. According to a study by Biganzoli, around 37% of 200 litre steel drums are scrapped after their first use due to damage or pollution. We want to solve this problem by using our innovative inliners.

Our approach to reuse:
Our dedicated efforts to promote sustainability have led us to commission a comprehensive study from the renowned Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT. The results of this study clearly show the success of our initiative. The primary aim of our inliners is to protect steel drums, increase their durability and extend their lifetime. In addition, this approach eliminates the need for environmentally harmful and expensive cleaning processes associated with the conventional use of steel drums.

Environmental impact:
The study by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT impressively demonstrates the positive impact of our reuse strategy on the environment. Compared to conventional use, our inliners contribute to a remarkable reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 73%. This significant reduction is due to the avoidance of the premature disposal of steel drums and the elimination of energy-intensive cleaning processes.
