Dr Axel Weiler joined the Roundliner Group as CEO in August 2024. With his many years of experience in various industries, he will continue to drive the company’s sustainable and value-oriented growth.
Dr. Weiler brings extensive expertise in the areas of growth strategies, business development, digital transformation, as well as in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. As a former partner of a strategy consulting firm and managing director of a manufacturer of microfibrillated cellulose for the paper and packaging industry, he is well aware of the challenges and opportunities in the industry. His solid background as an industrial engineer and financial expert ensures that economic decisions are not only visionary, but also value creating.
His management style is characterized by strategic thinking, team orientation and clear prioritization . With international experiences in countries such as the UK, the USA, Switzerland and France, he provides valuable ideas for the further development of Roundliner. His vision: ‘There are plenty of opportunities – you just have to find them!’
