“Some see private enterprise as a predatory target to be shot, others as a cow to be milked, but few are those who see it as a sturdy horse pulling the wagon.” – Winston Churchill

ROUNDLINER bid farewell to longstanding Managing Director and co-partner Thomas Max at a ceremony – but not quite…

Thomas Max joined “Peter Kritzer Kunststoffverpackungen” in 1995 and from then on, he focussed on the sale of plastic bags for used textile collections – a business that has been successfully continued to this day. In the following years, the portfolio diversified sustainably and was increasingly marketed under the name of ROUNDLINER, a company founded by Peter Kritzer in 1990. This company specialised in the production of round bottom bags, which are required by the chemical industry, particularly for adhesives, paints and varnishes. Thomas Max and Peter Kritzer steadily expanded the business with the help of long-time companions, so that ROUNDLINER soon successfully entered the international stage and was respected as a contact partner by global corporations. This was a unique development, thanks above all to Thomas Max as the company’s first point of contact.

The expansion of production, the development of employees, the establishment of long-term partnerships on the sales and procurement side – all of this was largely driven by him and made ROUNDLINER a leading supplier in its field. Consequently, Thomas Max rose to become managing partner and was a full-blooded entrepreneur for many years – also thanks to the remarkable support of his wife, who accompanied him both professionally and privately. The one, who pulls the wagon.

Thomas Max is now retiring from management at his own request and has already set the course for this in recent years. A young and well-established team of industry experts and specialists is now taking over the reins of ROUNDLINER and is happy to have Thomas Max at its side as a strategic advisor.

In his short speech, Thomas Max thanked all employees, without whom the company would never have been able to achieve such success. Thomas Max expressed his special thanks to Peter Kritzer, who opened up all opportunities for him and wrote a joint success story called ROUNDLINER for many years.
